The first bugfix is for the new "Clan Search Button" feature. It is the first in a series of features that are designed to help clans draft members on the one side and on the other to make it easier for players to find a clan. We recommend every player who is trying to find a clan to check it out in his profile.

As one of the most recent additions to the C4P Admin team, C4PNews conducted an interview with Jobe to see what kind of projects are being undertaken currently, where he sees the League and its direction forward, and what kinds of improvements we have seen and might expect in the future. From the "daily grind" to very long-term endeavors, Jobe laid out a myriad of ambitious undertakings by the League Admins and weighed in on some questions about ways to keep things new, keep players interested, and improve the league offering to its members.

Suspended players with a nic that starts with a clan tag can now see the suspension reason in the hover dialogue box. (Fixed by: Imhotep)

Monitor Mod games not showing correctly on GameSpy Server List.(Fixed by: Imhotep)

While these fixes may not be the biggest bugs out there, there are more to come as the new coding staff gets more acquainted with the current site code. If anyone else has experience with PHP and MySQL and would like to be part of the team working on these issues, please contact any of the admin staff.

For newer players who don't know DTA, he’s the resident behind-the-scenes code guy, and, he said, he likes it that way. In addition to his full-time job, DTA holds a part-time position as a database manager/report writer and got into website design as a hobby on top of that. A CivPlayers League Admin for a little over four years, DTA has seen his share of changes in the League, and sees many parallels between the C3P league then and the present-day C4P league. read more...
